John F. "Jack" Seubert Jr.

John F. “Jack” Seubert Jr., 80, of Washington died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.  He was born September 25, 1938 in Washington, the son of the late John F. and Grace M. Einloth Seubert Sr.  Mr. Seubert was a 1956 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.  He served in the United States Navy for three years onboard several Naval Destroyers before being honorably discharged and was very proud of his military service.  After being discharged from the Navy he went to work as an apprentice electrician for Universal Cyclops before becoming employed by U.S. Steel as an electrician for 32 years, retiring in 2000.  Mr. Seubert was a true family man, a great husband and father.  His family meant everything to him, including the dogs with whom he shared his life over the years.   He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed traveling.  One of his greatest joys was spending time in West Virginia at the river.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

On June 17, 1961 he married Carol A. Mueser, who survives.  The couple had been married for over 57 years.  Also surviving are two sons, Michael J. Seubert of Washington and James E. (Andrea) Seubert of Washington; a sister-in-law, Lisa (James) Bauer of Gibsonia, who was like a daughter to Mr. Seubert; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Raymond and Margaret Mueser of Valencia, PA; and sister-in-law Linda Puccinelli of Pittsburgh, PA.  Mr. Seubert was also a loving uncle and great-uncle.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Seubert was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Harry Puccinelli.

Friends will be received on Monday-January 14, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Supervisor/Director, Susan Falvo Warco, Director, S. Timothy Warco II, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday-January 15, 2019 in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Twp.  Full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 and the United States Navy.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or to the Washington Area Humane Society at P.O.
