Audrey L. Linville

Audrey L. Linville, 92, of Pickerington, OH, formerly of Claysville and Washington, PA, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024.  She was born on March 2, 1931, in Castle Shannon, PA, a daughter of the late Walter Lang and Freda Metzger Lang.

Audrey attended and graduated from Claysville High School, where she met the love of her life, Harry W. Linville.  The two wed on September 28, 1951, and celebrated 64 years of marriage before Harry preceded her in death in 2015.  Their relationship was a true love story full of affection, faith, and respect for one another.  They centered their lives on family and built a loving home that was the hub for countless family gatherings.  Audrey was a fantastic cook and was particularly well known for her chicken and noodles, pot roast, homemade pies, and fresh black raspberry jelly.  You could always count on leaving her house with a full belly and a happy heart.

Audrey and Harry’s legacy includes two children, Karen (Jack) Eneix of Pickerington, OH, and Scott (Cindy) Linville, of Washington, PA; four grandchildren, Jenny (Mac) McMillan, Carrie Eneix, Brian Linville (Alexandra Good), and Emily (Erik) Fargo, and six great-grandchildren, Makhi, Maddie, and Maya McMillan, Noah, and Christian Fargo, and Beringer Linville.  Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Audrey enjoyed traveling, doing counted cross-stitch, playing games, and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports.  She retired from Millcraft Industries after serving as executive secretary for many years and was an active member of the Claysville Presbyterian Church prior to moving from Claysville. 

Friends will be received on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director, Park N. Crosier, Director.  A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, in the funeral home with the Rev.
