Dolores M. Roberts

Dolores M. Roberts, 89, of Washington, PA, entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, April 15, 2024.  She was born May 18, 1934, in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Persie Stimmell.  Dolores attended Washington High School and graduated from Chartiers High School. 

On July 30, 1953, she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Roberts, who passed February 18, 2024.  The were married in the West Washington United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Debolt and celebrated 71 years of marriage.  She worked alongside her husband in their family business, R & M Grinding.  She was a member of Central Assembly of God in Houston, PA.  Dolores was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, and her community.  Her Christian faith was an essential part of her life.  Dolores was a member of the Women’s Aglow International.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams.  Dolores will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Surviving are her children, Susan (Edward) Westcott and Steven (Tammie) Roberts; a daughter-in-law, Denise Roberts; eight grandchildren, Sara (Brent) Marsteller, Emily (Coury) Miles, Matthew (Emily) Roberts, Philip (Cynthia) Westcott, Jared (Nicole) Roberts, Jordan (Rachel) Roberts, Alexander Roberts, and Rachel Roberts; nine great grandchildren, Maddix Marsteller, Bailey Roberts, Taeden Marsteller, Gabriel Roberts, Callin Miles, Charles Roberts, Camila Westcott, Lilah Miles, and Jensie Roberts.  Also surviving is a sister, Louise McKinney and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, James Roberts and a brother, Edward Stimmell.

Friends will be received on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at E. Katherine Ave., Washington, S. Timothy Warco, Owner/Supervisor, S. Timothy Warco II, Director, Holly Renay Warco, Director.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Craig Bellis officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Washington Cemetery Serenity Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Assisted Living, 336 N.
